ParentSquare
Wabash City Schools is excited to be using ParentSquare to communicate with parents and guardians about classroom and building events and announcements starting in the summer of 2024. As a company, ParentSquare was launched in 2014 and has quickly become the premier school-to-home communication tool in the US. ParentSquare provides a simple and safe way for everyone at school to connect. They support automatic translation to over 100 different languages!
We will use ParentSquare to announce delays/cancellations, school events, but that is just the beginning! Teachers will be able to send direct messages to families about classroom activities and parents and guardians will be able to respond. We will be able to securely send documents such as report cards, test results, and permission slips. For non-guardian/parents who would like to receive alerts about delays, cancellations, or other critical alerts, click the button below and sign up for our WCS Community Alerts group. Again, this is for folks that DO NOT have a student at Wabash City Schools.

Get Started With ParentSquare
Before you get started, make sure the school has the correct email and mobile number in Skyward. This is how the initial invite will be sent. Then, download the ParentSquare app on iOS (iPhone) or Android and follow the steps below.

ParentSquare Tips
Now that you are signed up, there are some important features that you should know. Everyone gets tired of countless emails, texts, and messages, but with ParentSquare, you can control almost all of the communications sent from your school. When you choose "Digest", you will only get one email at the end of the day with all of the relevant posts and messages for your student(s).
