This message is an update regarding our Bus 25 afternoon routes for 9/25/23 to 9/29/23.
The lack of substitute bus drivers continues to be an issue. We deeply appreciate the support of our staff who are filling in the gaps and the grace and understanding of our parents, guardians, and students.
Mrs. Wilkinson will be running the afternoon routes for Bus 25 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (Wednesday will be a regular day). She will run these routes AFTER she completes her route. She will pick up Bus 25 students at LH Carpenter around 3:40 p.m. and then at OJ Neighbours at 3:50 p.m. She will run the in-town elementary route. These students will arrive approximately 55-60 minutes later than normal. After completing the in-town elementary route, she will pick up Bus 25 MS and HS students around 4:15 p.m. Middle and high school students and county route students will arrive approximately 45 minutes later than usual. These times are all approximates.
We apologize for the late notice and sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience with us as we work to safely transport our students. If you decide to pick up your student this week, please be sure to reach out to their building to let them know they will be parent pick-up.
