Attention Wabash County families! We're excited to announce mass sports physicals are coming back to Wabash County on May 20th from 6pm to 9pm! We deeply appreciate the Bowen Center and the YMCA of Wabash County for organizing and hosting this massive effort to serve the kids and families of Wabash County.
Here's how it will work: When students arrive, they will head to the registration table where two Bowen employees will assist with payments and paperwork. There, they'll pay the $25 fee for their physical and receive a form along with a ticket bearing a unique number.
Students and parents will hold onto the form until they reach our support staff and medical providers. Once their number is called, they'll move into the gym area to await their turn. The plan is to group students in sets of 10 to streamline the process.
After the physical, students will proceed to another Bowen employee who will make copies of their forms. As a token of appreciation, they will be providing bags filled with Bowen Health Clinic swag and some other goodies.
Additionally, the YMCA will be providing dinner for anyone 18 and under! Another big thanks goes out to the Wabash County Health Department, which will be offering school vaccinations for those in need. It's important to note that every student must be accompanied by a parent. We cannot provide medical services to anyone under 18 without parental consent.
